The Team

Neil Schulman

Neil Schulman has nearly a quarter-century of experience in leadership development, organizational capacity building, program design, civic engagement, facilitation, governance, and natural resources issues.  He is the co-founder and President of the Confluence Environmental Center, a natural resources leadership development organization that grew from an idea to a $700,000 organization in four years. He has trained hundreds of leaders and built the capacity of countless organizations across Oregon. He’s been a trainer and facilitator for Oregon Solutions, the Ford Institute Leadership Program, an advisor to National Service Programs, and serves on regional philanthropy committees. When he’s not working on leadership development, capacity building, and program design, look for him in one of the region’s natural areas, frequently with a paddle or a camera in his hand.
